Information we collect
When you make an enquiry or request an assessment, we may collect your name, mobile number, email address, postcode, vehicle and registration details, repair category, description of the problem, driveability and urgency, insurance context, preferred reply method, requested assessment timing, photographs, consent records and limited campaign attribution. If work proceeds, we also keep estimates, bookings, workshop communications and the records needed to deliver and account for the service.
Private vehicle photographs can reveal a registration, location or belongings. They are stored as private media and are available only to authorised staff and systems needed to handle the enquiry.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
Enquiries and assessments: Lawful basis pending owner review. This must identify the applicable basis before the notice is approved.
Quotes, bookings and repair work: Lawful basis pending owner review. This must distinguish pre-contract enquiries from an agreed workshop contract.
Marketing: Lawful basis pending owner review. Optional marketing is kept separate from the repair enquiry and can be withdrawn.
Analytics and advertising measurement: Lawful basis pending owner review. Optional analytics and advertising storage remains denied until the visitor consents.
We use these details to understand the requested work, contact you, assess the vehicle, arrange a visit, prepare and discuss an estimate, manage any later repair, protect the site, prevent duplicate submissions and measure advertising only where the required choice has been made. We do not use enquiry data for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Who receives information
Access is limited to authorised workshop staff and service providers needed for hosting, private file storage, database operations and enabled email, Telegram or WhatsApp delivery. Notification providers receive only the data needed for the configured alert. Private photos and claim details are not sent to broad Telegram groups. Failed deliveries are logged without message bodies or permanent private-file URLs.
Some configured technology providers may process information outside the UK. Before approving this notice, the owner must identify the processors actually enabled, their locations and the transfer safeguard relied upon where an international transfer occurs.
